The report, as filed
My son (aged 32), wife (aged 59) and I (aged 60) were sitting on my son’s back porch, smoking cigars and talking when I noticed a bluish white orb moving from north to south. It appeared to be moving at 150 mph and at an altitude of 5,000 feet above ground. This was estimated by judging against planes lining up for landing at DIA. It did not emit a sound and had no flashing lights. The orb moved at a steady speed and heading. We followed it with binoculars until it was lost behind trees and houses. It was tracked for about 15 minutes. After about five minutes of discussing what we might have just seen, another orb on a similar size, shape, heading and speed was spotted. We were able to get some pictures and video of the second orb. We could not discern any structure to the shape but we are reasonably sure it was not a hot air balloon due to the duration of the flight and perceived size of the object. Plus we checked wind directions at various altitudes and! all were in different directions from the orbs flight path. The sky was clear. I am a former Air Force Nuclear Officer and very familiar with aircraft and flight characteristics. This sighting did not fit the normal flight profile.

What would the paper say?
For a dated, located U.S. sighting, FAA radar data and ATC communications are the records most likely to exist. Through Aletheca, the house instrument, anyone can commission the request — filed, chased, and published in the open, refusals included. The draft goes over already written: the records sought, and the date window they would live in.

On Jan 11th, 2023, I was driving north on Sheridan Blvd near 120th Ave in Broomfield/ Westminster, CO. In the sky, north of my location, I saw an object that looked just like the object shot down over Billings, MT. I dismissed the object as being from UCAR/ NCAR or a weather balloon. Now I know. Not sure who would be interested at this time. You are the only ones that had contact info to make a report.

Saw some very strange bright white lights in front of black thunderstorm clouds this afternoon. Saw one light at first and thought it was a plane (thinking to myself i would not want to be up there right now)… then five or six more of the bright white lights appeared out of nowhere. I said out loud “what in the hell is that?!?!), watched them for about 15 seconds, then grabbed my phone and called my husband to come upstairs. By the time I got back to the window (seconds later), they were gone. Very strange…

I'm an amateur astronomer and I was setting up my gear just before sundown. When I glanced up at a plane that was leaving DIA, I noticed something else (naked eye) just north of the plane at a slightly higher altitude (~20k feet). It looked like a shiny disk and was moving slowly due north. I grabbed binoculars to get a closer look and I was able to see the object very clearly. It wasn't a disk but rather toroid in shape and metallic silver. It was tumbling as it moved north. In diameter I would say it was approximately 100-200 feet. The best description I can give would be a 100 foot diameter silver wedding ring being tossed in slow motion. I grabbed my partner and gave her another pair of binos. We just watched it for about 15 minutes until it was too far away to see with much clarity. Because of its silver coloration I thought it might be a mylar research balloon of some kind, but I can't find any reference to such a thing online. It had no visible lights of propulsion. ((BEGIN ADDENDUM FROM WITNESS)) Hello, I submitted a report last week regarding a sighting I experienced in Broomfield, CO on August 9th. I posted the wrong date for the sighting as it actually occurred on Saturday August 8th. I'd just like to make the change in case anyone else witnessed the event on the same day. Thanks, ((END ADDENDUM))

Five lights to the south at about 8 thousand feet abode sea level were hovering and arranging themselves to make perfectly symmetrical geometric shapes. The lights went away after a minute of me witnessing this.

I was on my way home from the grocery store at about 1:15pm on 25 February, 2017, heading south on Kohl St. in Broomfield, CO. As I stopped at the intersection of W. 11th, looking southward, I saw a strange object moving above the roof tops near the intersection of Kohl St. and W. 10th Avenue, a block away. The object was a solid and somewhat irregularly shaped teardrop that was horizontal and heading at an even level and speed towards the east. It was a gunmetal gray color. The plumper part of the object was to the east and the sharper point to the west. It was smooth, but on the east end, the shape had a slightly squared edge on the top rim. The bottom of it seemed flat. I wondered if it were a drone, but it had no protruding parts, such as propellers or wings. I am estimating that this object was about two feet long and two and a half feet at the widest point. There was no traffic, so I turned east on W. 11th and kept looking at it as it arced northeast above the houses on the next street. I turned down that street, but it flew beyond the street and disappeared from view. The wind was pretty strong from the northwest at that time. If it had been debris, I believe it would have tumbled and pirouetted in the sky, taking on irregular shapes. Instead, it remained in the same shape, and it moved in a completely even trajectory, at a steady altitude, and at a steady pace. I do not believe this was debris caught in the wind. I believe it was a craft moving at a steady velocity, with purpose, towards the east/northeast. If it made any sound, I did not hear it because I was in the car and the windows were rolled up completely.
