The report, as filed

Three bright reddish orbs in a triangular formation, stationary in the sky. The sky was clear. Stars around the orbs much smaller. Within a 5-8 minute period, the orbs began to fade, one at a time. I'm sure many people saw the orbs because it was July 4 and it was within 10 miles of the airport. I've lived here for 22 years and I sincerely don't believe it was an air craft. I will send a photo of the last orb before it faded. I don't want to be contacted. Witness provides no contact information, and requests that no one contact her about the sighting. Hence, all we can do is hope that she sends a copy of the photo. PD

Versailles, KY

At 1935 Hours on 12/1/22 i was traveling east toward Versailles, Ky when I witnessed a fireball falling and traveling northwest to southeast. It was very bright, appeared to be on fire, and was not traveling near the speed of a falling meteorite. I am a retired ky State Police Trooper and Detective as well as a former pilot. I reported this to the Versailles Ky Police Department and they had had no other reports. I don’t know if it was an aircraft or a fireball however it was not traveling at a speed higher than a conventional aircraft. Because I was driving my viiew time was limited. The Color was yellow. Versailles, KY

Spotted while driving east along Tyrone Pike in Woodford County. Craft had three bright lights, much brighter than any commercial or known military craft, and one flashing red light. It was gliding east in what looked like the vicinity of Bluegrass Parkway. Possibly following the Parkway or heading toward LEX airport, but I was a few miles away so it was difficult to tell. Craft then flew counter clockwise in a circle roughly near the Versailles exit of the Parkway, before continuing east. It did not appear to bank during its turn. The sky was overcast but the craft was well below the cloudline, and due to the brightness of its lights it was very noticeable. Also due to the brightness of its lights I could not see the craft itself, only the lights. I understand it’s very probable this was a terrestrial craft, but I have not been able to determine what it was.

Noticed an bright, constant, orange light. Moving at a consistent speed a few thousand feet up going North to South. Maybe 150-200 mph. Light was the same brightness throughout. Straight flight path, very low with no sound at all. Novice opinion: too fast to be a lantern, flew too many miles to be a consumer drone. Will watch again tonight.
