Disk over Fort Leonard Wood, MO

A witness account on file, unevaluated. Most of the archive rests here, and honestly so.

The report, as filed

((ADDENDUM FROM NUFORC AND WITNESS)) Dear Mr. ((name deleted)) Thank you very much for the nice report! We have heard about that object before, and we believe that it is some kind of space vehicle, used by the U. S. Air Force. If you go to the homepage of www.ufocenter.com and scroll down to the posting of April 30, 2015, you can see an illustration submitted by another professional driver, who saw something quite similar to what you describe. Please let me know if it matches the craft you witnessed. Thanks, again! Cordially, Peter Davenport, Director National UFO Reporting Center Washington State RESPONSE FROM SOURCE OF ORIGINAL REPORT: Thanks. The object was classic flying saucer shaped, at least from my view, which was mostly edge on. It wasn't as large as the illustration on April 2015. No wings, bumps etc. I am very familiar with military aircraft. Thanks. ((END ADDENDA))

Held as-reported from National UFO Reporting Center (record NUFORC #132436). Witness text is preserved verbatim, including its spelling; nothing is edited beyond formatting.

Ask for the records

What would the paper say?

For a dated, located U.S. sighting, FAA radar data and ATC communications are the records most likely to exist. Through Aletheca, the house instrument, anyone can commission the request — filed, chased, and published in the open, refusals included. The draft goes over already written: the records sought, and the date window they would live in.
