The report, as filed
After returning near my neighborhood (Emerald Springs) my daughter and I noticed a very bright orange and yellow glow moving very slowly towards the neighbor hood. It was very bright and visible. The oval shaped object was descending very slowly. The houses were in the way so we lost sight of the object for a couple of minutes. We decided to drive down county road 900 North and once again saw the object on the ground behind some trees and did it vanished.

A single object was floating above a crop field. The color was grey/black. It was very large although it appears small in photos. It did not move, rotate, or change position. The object displayed 2-dimensional characteristics as the perspective remained the same from all directions.

Translucent against the night sky. Best description is like the Predator movie creature ability to cloak. About 1 mile altitude, moving NW to SE. Had maybe 4 or 5 very dim lights within the ‘cloaked’ area. Could not make out shape, only where it was based on how it distorted the sky behind it. Silent, steady, even a smooth velocity. Visible from once it was first seen until out of visual range at 4 to 5 seconds.
