Light over Tucson, AZ
A witness account on file, unevaluated. Most of the archive rests here, and honestly so.
The report, as filed
Friend noticed something odd in the night sky at around 1:50am east of our position. It appeared to be right over Vail, AZ, or our suburb of Rita Ranch. It was rather odd, when we noticed these three lights, that could form a triangle. The three lights began to move our direction without breaking formation, and then halted in one spot. It did not move from the position, but instead seemed to blink their lights and stare at us. I can only assume that they knew of us and watched with caution. The interesting thing about these lights were that they seem to be blinking in a pattern of sorts, and the left light happened to be the color green, but the other two lights were typical bright star-like lights (although far brighter and clearly closer). There is no full moon out, nor was it a new moon; the moon was not in my view when looking east toward these lights. The strangest thing was the coyotes were noisy, far nosier than usual. Typically you may hear a few coyo! tes yipper and howl, but only once in a blue moon (pun intended); this time every coyote was at it. I thought it may be a party down the wash since it was Fri/Sat, but it was rather late. Anyways, my friend an I viewed this mystery for a few moments and normally I'm able to point out whether or not it was a plane or helicopter, of course three lights flashing in a strange pattern is a little odd. The left green light was curious as you never really hear about colored lights unless it pairs with other colors (notably red, because then its a human craft). The lack of sound didn't help, nor the stationary position it developed. I wasn't going to wait around any much longer and told my friend to step outside and make sure I enter my house safely (I live across the street in the direction of the mystery), yeah, I was spooked and it was still there when I had entered. I want to point out however that Davis Monthan Air Force Base was to our north and northwest, but what we viewed was directly to the east. I failed to record the event, at 2am with only the two of us, like hell I'm staying around. Witness elects to remain totally anonymous; provides little contact information. PD
Held as-reported from National UFO Reporting Center (record NUFORC #129833). Witness text is preserved verbatim, including its spelling; nothing is edited beyond formatting.

What would the paper say?
For a dated, located U.S. sighting, FAA radar data and ATC communications are the records most likely to exist. Through Aletheca, the house instrument, anyone can commission the request — filed, chased, and published in the open, refusals included. The draft goes over already written: the records sought, and the date window they would live in.

As I was looking up I saw this white oval/round light moving slow with a halo around it. NO SOUND, but it was high. I saw it in a break in the high clouds. I watched to see it come out from the cloud it flew in or above. By the speed it was going it should’ve appeared in less than 10 seconds. It didn’t come back and I watched that spot for maybe 30 seconds. When I didn’t see it I got up and walked out so I could see more of the sky. There was high clouds as I said, but There was plenty of open space in the sky to see it. There was nothing to be seen. I watch the sky for maybe 8 or 10 minutes.

Sitting on patio facing wester sky. At approx. 7:30PM, at about a 45 degree angle at 280 degrees west, three objects began moving from the same spot in three different directions. Size approximated a bright star. Speed was faster than any satellite we've seen. And they disappeared when approx. overhead. Within a minute or two, from the same originating spot, one took off at the same speed towards the SE. We lost count but around six to eight repeated with about 30 second intervals. The last event was two pair on the same track as the others. They made no sound. My wife and I both clearly saw the objects. She thinks they were meteors - after some research on Utube, I saw nothing similar via video or by verbal description. I'm not sure what they were. Contact me if you wish.

Big bang, happened once at 530 and then again at 740 pm, over 20 lights flashing at first in and then moving like planes but erratically and disappearing and then reappearing, then completely disappearing all together except one looked like it landed on Sabino Canyon. Then all of a sudden they would reappear after disappearing and move, some really fast, others slow and then disappear again.

While driving up a hill and approaching our driveway, I noticed an object flying low over the neighborhood houses. As it came closer, I noticed that it was not a plane nor a helicopter and it was not flying south towards the Tucson airport - which is the usual flight route for planes. Instead it was flying over the back of our house and going east towards Mount Lemmon. Immediately, I knew that it was unusual and I asked my husband to look at it and tell me what it was. He told me that it was a UFO. When I parked the car in the garage - the silvery looking disc/object disappeared from view. We were both in shock. This happened on Friday afternoon at about 3:30 P.M.
