Light over Foristell, MO
A witness account on file, unevaluated. Most of the archive rests here, and honestly so.
The report, as filed
My husband and I witnessed what I initially thought was a star, SW of our location, until the star began to move erratically. It stayed in basically the same location but would move in a circle or quickly dart to the right or left. The object was low in the sky but looked to be as far away from earth as a star. We watched it for about 15 minutes. We looked through binoculars and could tell it had red and green/blue lights that flashed occasionally. We do not have anything else powerful enough to have seen it clearly. Twinkling star? PD
Held as-reported from National UFO Reporting Center (record NUFORC #128927). Witness text is preserved verbatim, including its spelling; nothing is edited beyond formatting.

What would the paper say?
For a dated, located U.S. sighting, FAA radar data and ATC communications are the records most likely to exist. Through Aletheca, the house instrument, anyone can commission the request — filed, chased, and published in the open, refusals included. The draft goes over already written: the records sought, and the date window they would live in.
