The report, as filed
On July 4th, 2016, 4 of us seen 15 glowing objects in the sky NO it wasn't fireworks, we watched as they flew behind the fireworks, they looked like orange/red balls of light. We live in the flight path of COS Airport and PAFB, and these objects flew on a DIFFERANT path. They just coming more and more of them and when they got to the same spot in the sky the all just winked out and where GONE. They didn't fly away they Disappeared, They were NOT airplanes or helicopters that had NO aviation lights, they made NO sound at all. They were UFO's I'm not saying they were Aliens but Unidentified Flying Objects On July 4th 2016 after we seen these UFO's I called the Fountain Police who told me all I saw were fireworks, I called Ft. Carson, who said they had no other reports, I called Peterson Air Force Base who said they had NOTHING in the air that night, so I don't know what we ALL seen, BUT I can tell you there were NOT Airplanes or Helicopters, they were UFO's and by that I mean Unidentified Flying Objects. 4 of us seen them, they were LARGE Orange/Red balls, some where closer, but they ALL fly on the same Path the simply winked out and Disappeared, did ANYONE else see this ???

I was looking at the moon and planets. Just east of the moon I seen what I thought was a meteor breaking up into fragments. It traveled from North to south then faded as it seemed to get further. Color of objects is white 10-20 in a semi liner pattern moving together

We were driving west, and noticed the craft hovering, at first we thought it was a contrail, but after watching one move under the object, I then realize it wasn't moving. The object stayed in the same spot for about 5 minutes until an incoming storm obstructed the view of the object. In the photos, you can see a jet move in front of, or under, the object. The object does not look like a cloud or contrail.

I left my home to retrieve some chewing tobacco from my truck parked in the street in front of my house. I looked west towards Fort Carson and noticed a very bright light in the sky that I have never seen before. At first I though it was a helicopter due to its location over an Army installation. I ruled that notion out due to the lack of blinking lights and the lack of noise. The craft was perfectly still (didn't weave or bob like a hovering helicopter). My second thought was that it might be a commercial airplane due to an airport being nearby my location. But again the lack of lights, noise, and movement ruled that out for me. In a stroke of luck an airplane happened to be flying at lower altitude in the same direction and provided an outstanding visual reference. I went back into my house to retrieve my roommate to ensure I wasn't seeing things. He confirmed that he too saw something strange. The object to appeared to be in the shape of a cross. The cro! ss appeared to have been in the shape of two intersecting ovals instead of two linear components. The horizontal part appeared to have been red in color. The vertical part was two colors. The middle was yellow and each end was green in color. It didn't move for a very long time and our bare feet were getting cold from the concrete path. We went back in the house for approximately an hour. When I went back outside for another look, it was gone, like it was never there. I have served in the military and have seen different aircraft from all over the world and have never seen anything like that. It compelled me to report it.

I was driving south on Powers blvd towards Fontaine in Fountain security widefield area. This area is well known for planes as it has an airport just north of this location as well as an air force base. Seeing planes of all shapes and sizes come and go is not abnormal and that is why this stood out so much. As i drove south on Powers I saw what at first appeared to be a plane. Three bright white lights in a diamond shape and one flashing red on what i would describe as the body of the craft. The craft heading south banks and starts to head north towards the airport. Now this is not too unusual for military craft and the slow speed it seemed to be moving at suggested military aircraft. As I made my way to Fontaine I made a right and headed west on Fontaine. The craft could be seen out my drivers side window. As the craft grew closer it seemed to slow down to a point that any normal aircraft would fall out of the sky. This one however hovered above homes in the area. There was no sound from the craft and it was not a helicopter based on size and light position on the craft. Also, there was no reflection from either the white or flashing red light on the craft. I made a left heading south down Mesa Ridge Pkwy and the craft was completely motionless. As i passed it on the left i watched it in my rear view mirror. It moved West behind me. I turned my car around to follow this strange aircraft. At the light of Fontaine i made a left and headed west but the lights and craft had disappeared. Witness elects to remain totally anonymous; provides no contact information. PD
