Sphere over Minneapolis-Uptown, MN

I was looking out my window and saw a flashing light/orb light, it kept moving from a SW direction toward a NW direction, it was a blinking hovering light, I am used to seeing airplanes fly to the Minneapolis-Saint.Paul airport but this light just hovered in one location and disappeared and re appeared in a different direction. I did hear 3 planes/jets fly by and I did see 1 plane fly towards the light which than disappeared as the jet/ plane flew towards it. I dismissed the light until I looked out my window again surprised that it was a clear night and the stars, Venus and Jupiter were all visible, I than saw what looked like a satellite, it had a path yet looked odd to me, so than I ran outside to try and follow and locate the direction of it but was too late to find it. I than went outside and looked up to the stars looking for anything moving, I was able to locate 2 lights/orbs that looked like blinking satellites yet would disappear behind clouds as! they passed by, making me think they were in the atmosphere not outside the atmosphere? I usually see no activity in the skies other than usual airplanes but this was different, at one point when I saw the hovering orb/light i honestly was scared/excited and felt like it was out of this world. I am used to seeing airplanes and satellites, yet these sightings were distinct and unusual to me, so I think it would be worthy of reporting . -Just making sure I saw 4 unknown craft and about 3-5 plane/jets flying around the vicinity
