Triangle over St. George, UT

Me and my boyfriend were sitting in his car late at night in a large excavation sight, when all of a sudden three lights appeared in a triangle pattern and a one by one formation. The first light came on, then the second, then the third- this occurred while moving horizontally across the South West sky. The lights then continued to turn off in the same pattern as they appeared in. Three bright white lights on the same craft, there was no colored lights what so ever, no flashing lights etc. There wasnt anything with in this area that could of caused these lights in the sky, no telephone towers, no airport lights, etc. This was on the out-skirts of town that consitited of just desert and lava rocks, no near by cities or towns-closest place from the South West area is 2 hours away (Las Vegas). The craft was high in the sky and came out from behind the mountains, the way it moved, how the lights turned off and on in a intellectual triangular pattern-there's no doubt in my mind that this wasn't a UFO!
