The report, as filed
The lighted oval was "Misty" around the edges like a moon on a cloudy night. It traveled quickly from the South East over the top of our home as it descended and disappeared into the ocean about a mile or so off shore to the West. It had no tail and was to low to the ground to be a shooting star.
