The report, as filed
I was helping my neighbor install a garage heater when I went to go get some tools from my house next door. Upon returning I noticed an orange-red sphere moving very quickly in the North moving to the Northeast. I’ve seen space junk and meteors through atmosphere and this wasn’t any of that. The altitude and speed didn’t make sense to me. It was fairly low altitude, approx. 2000 feet and moving in a straight line faster than jet but slower than a meteor. I watched it trying to verify flashing wing lights, sound or anything that would show to be some sort of man-made object. The object wasn’t totally glowing solid, it had a somewhat clear hazy luminescence to it. I observed it for about 8-10 seconds before went behind a cloud bank to the Northeast. What’s funny is I watch Sci–Fi channel and have said to myself a million times, “I will never see one”. Now I have.

We observed a comet about 10 minutes before. We were fishing by the boat launch opening and looked up and say a line of lights. The lights were pulsing around the saucer. The saucer was angled and on the left side of the opening of the trees. It floated all the way to the right sight of the opening above the trees, straightened out, dimmed the lights, and shot off. It a total of about 2 min 30 sec.

Orange non blinking light in the sky traveling silently south east fairly quickly. 500 yards above the ground (just a guess). Looked like a spherical light. When it was directly above you could see a squarish shape around it. The wind is currently headed WEST at 4mph. This was not a Chinese lantern. Orange spheres that changed shape. They appeared all at once in the southwestern sky, still and unmoving for quite several minutes, then a couple moved straight up, but two went over head and then others just disappeared
