I was sitting on front porch when I thought I spotted an airplane. After periodically looking up into Easter sky I realized that the lights were sitting idle in sky and not moving. I pointed it out to my wife and went and got my binoculars. Through the binoculars it appears to have a green light, and blue light and some clear lights with a red strobe light. I called my father in law that witnessed the same with his wife. I text a co worker who said he went outside and witnessed. After 20 minutes or so, a second light source appeared and another. My in laws and I witnessed several airplanes fly in vicinity of lights. Once planes got near the red strobe lights would stop until planes were past. Over time the lights would rise in altitude and shift south. Again I saw what I first thought was a plane coming from the south, but moving really fast. It passed behind a tree and never flew from other side of tree. When looking for it to come out from behind tree I noticed it was not a plane but another one of these lights sitting now at edge of tree. We noticed a total of 8 of these lights in Easter sky. Some higher altitude than planes flying through and some lower. I witnessed this for 3 hours before going to bed.looking through binoculars, I saw a white flash across sky at about midnight. My father in law witnessed similar flash between 10:30and 11 pm. This was on 9/30. On Oct. 8, I stepped out on porch and noticed one light in Easter sky and alerted my wife to come witness it. On Oct. 9 I stepped out on porch after company left at 2am. I spotted 8 of these lights in Easter sky, one in northern sky, one in northeastern sky, one directly over my house towards the west, and one in southern sky. The southern most light on eastern sky was the lowest and closest of any we have seen. It was much over the tree tops and very bright. A called my in laws and they went out with binoculars to witness. My father in law reported seeing a bright flash across sky in direction of the brightest light.
