The report, as filed
My girlfriend and i were on top of Montage Mountain in Scranton, PA, facing the main stage with the tent (not sure on the actual direction) when off to our left, high up above a mountain in the distance we saw a large glowing orange light that didn't blink traveling right from our point of view at an incredible speed for about 30 seconds, its speed in that direction then slowed down and the light began to shrink, as it decreased in size the color shifted from orange to red and then to white until it finally disappeared due to the Doppler effect that would imply that it was flying away from us.

I was driving down the Scranton expressway and saw a big light. At first thought I thought it was a plane but it was flying too low and was a constant bright light as if it were a big flashlight in the sky. It stayed in the same position, hovering. I was driving and could not tell if it just disappeared or I just couldn’t see it anymore behind the trees.

I looked out my window and saw a very bright light in the sky that seemed to be hovering. The light was in the shape of almost a perfect diamond. I opened the window to see if it was a glare but it wasn’t. I looked from another window and i couldn’t see the area so I went outside with my dog and the light was no longer there. My dog was pulling back to the door however which was unusual. There are streetlights in the area but I was too high and there has never been that bright of a light in that area before.

Around 2:35am at the Jets Park in West Scranton, Pennsylvania, next door to the Kane's Warehouse me and a friend saw a yellow rectangle with a small and thin but very bright trail touched down nearby and shortly after we saw a tall 8 or 9 foot figure with very large white eyes standing about 30 feet from us. It was hidden behind a few trees but it growled and right after a spotlight with a low humming sound hit us and maybe scanned us and we ran out of the field near the school where me and my friend were enjoying ourselves (my friend had a drink in him, I was sober). It was very sudden and abrupt and wasn't able to take any video or pictures.

I was walking when I looked up ahead of me I noticed a large what I would say rectangular UFO that was the size of a aircraft carrier. It was at night but it did not seem that far up in the sky. And it seemed to just float at ease it made no noise whatsoever it had a red orb in the front and two red orbs side to side which were distant from the first I would guess at about 50 yards and after that were another 2 orbs at 50m yards it just floated smoothly like it was not even going 10 mph it seemed just silently floating in the sky. Than it was just gone. I looked around hoping to see if any one else saw this. I mean this was in Scranton, PA, and what bothered me was something thus size so large was not seen by anyone else? Witness provides no contact information. Date of occurrence is flawed and illogical. Hoax?? We have changed the date and posted. PD

At about 2 PM Eastern Standard ((sic. Daylight)) Time today, I was going out of my house to retrieve my mail, and I noticed an object in the sky that looked very similar to a dirigible, or so called cigar-shaped UFO. The front of my house overlooks a panoramic view of eastern Scranton, Pennsylvania. I estimate the object I saw was as big as a jetliner and it was dark silver in color moving very slowly from north to east about 20 miles per hour, then turned and headed west and out of sight from my position. I would say I saw the object for about 2 to 3 minutes and it really startled me so I quickly came back in my house and grabbed my I phone 5 to take a photo. I would say the object probably flew near the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre airport and was in front of Montage Mountain. I notified security at the airport of the sighting at about 2:20 PM and I am awaiting someone to at least call me back, and so far no one has done so. The elevation of the object from my location was about 15 degrees, the height of the object from the ground I estimate to be about 3,000 feet up. The distance from my location to the object I saw may have been 5 to 8 miles away. In respect to the size of the sun, I would say this object could have been about 80 feet long or more and about 20 feet high. The object made no sound. I will attempt to draw the object that I saw with this report and try to send it separately in an email.
