Light over Windsor, MA

A witness account on file, unevaluated. Most of the archive rests here, and honestly so.

The report, as filed

Driving North on Route 9, a large white light appearing to follow the road, it looked like a small airplane that had no lights just completely white. I would say it was about 30 feet off the ground as was going approx 50 to 60 miles an hour, because the distance remained the same from my vehicle for some time. It appeared to then veer towards Route 8 A in Savoy, but when I turned on to Route 8A I could no longer see it. Witness elects to remain totally anonymous; provides no contact information. PD

Held as-reported from National UFO Reporting Center (record NUFORC #121586). Witness text is preserved verbatim, including its spelling; nothing is edited beyond formatting.

Ask for the records

What would the paper say?

For a dated, located U.S. sighting, FAA radar data and ATC communications are the records most likely to exist. Through Aletheca, the house instrument, anyone can commission the request — filed, chased, and published in the open, refusals included. The draft goes over already written: the records sought, and the date window they would live in.
