The report, as filed
I was laying in bed with the window open. My bed faces the window. Suddenly I see what appears to be a blue green light streaking accross the sky, that I took to be a meteor at first, but it didn't have that tell tale fireball stream following it. I have absolutely no idea why I jumped up out of my bed, or what made me decide to get up. Perhaps it was the fact that it had absolutely no sound or that it was too strong of a light that seemed too uniform. I jumped out of bed and I rush to the window, and right above forested area about 2 miles away from my apt the light just stopped and hovered there for a second, and then it just quickly reversed course and just turned bright red and stopped again. It was far too fast for anything I've seen man made. Then it turned blue and sort of dipped and dropped straight down. It wasnt falling at all. It looked like it was propelled falling with intentional force and sped quickly behind some trees. I stood there stunned. Then I ran quickly to my phone and turned on my camera. Through the trees I saw it moving but the trees were blocking my view so my phone wasn't picking it up. Suddenly the thing shot up into the sky so high and turned green again. It hovered there, turned blue, and shot back the way it came. Then it stopped, turned red and fell out of the sky again and stayed down for 3 min shot back up turned blue and shot accross the sky again, stopped and started pulsing. I believe I got it on camera when it got really close. For a moment, it stopped and went around in a circle right in front of my apt before shooting straight up again.

Around 9 PM yesterday evening I saw a somewhat low-flying aircraft that was a rectangle shape and had green lights on the underside in the shape of a half oval at each end of the rectangle speed across the sky above me. It was loud and I could hear it coming towards me. It sounded almost like a tornado and I heard it in both the sky and the trees. I went inside and around 9:20 I heard a loud aircraft and felt my house shake, so there may be another one flying around, or the same one.

I was in the back yard doing some astrophotography work and I looked up to see a form flying in a straight path over my house from the east to the west. I couldn’t tell what my eyes were seeing exactly and there are two ways to describe it. It looked as though it was a translucent boomerang shape with the curved part as the leading edge. But it also could have been the leading edge of a circular shaped craft with some kind of cloaking device on as the leading edge shape had a rippling/rippled effect along with the translucent appearance. It made no sound and with that and no reference point I could not tell if it was a large object 400-500 feet in the air or a small object 50-60 feet off the ground. The cops of trees that it flew over average 50-80 feet high so it was at least above that. The air was still. Barely a slight breeze, super clear night, 51 degrees F and cooling off. 95% of all flight paths in my area are N/S coining in and out of Reagan, Dulles and BWI. I’ve seen UFO’s before and this one was very unusual as it was very movie like in it’s quality.

I was moving SOutheast on Princess Anne Street in Fredericksburg near the train station, and high in the sky I saw a very bright light that was moving from right to left, but the light was pointing to the right. The light was very very bright, pointing to the right, but it also had a large cone of light associated with it- Like a giant comet or something in the sky- It really reminded me of pictures of a comet, where there is a huge tail of debris, but there was a bright light pointing backwards as it flew- It was not like any airplane I had ever seen.

My wife, kids, son-in-law, and myself watched a bright white light move quickly in a C shape across the sky above our horse field. It then turned to the north and proceeded in a straight line. We lost sight of it in the tree tops only to see it, or a second light come back in the opposite direction across the sky and then vanishing. It had no sound nor any FAA blinking lights.
