As reported

Triangle over Solebury, PA

A witness account on file, unevaluated. Most of the archive rests here, and honestly so.

The report, as filed

Noticed an extremely bright light, just above the treeline. Thought it was a planet or star at first, but way too bright and looked up to see cloud cover and no visible stars. Then it passed over, very quietly, from ~northwest to southeast, very low flying, and very slow, but with lots of lights on the underside. Expect it was a military aircraft of some sort, but haven't ever seen anything fly overhead that slowly - or low - with so little noise. My son is convinced it was a B2, but...that slow? Witness elects to remain totally anonymous; provides no contact information. PD

Held as-reported from National UFO Reporting Center (record NUFORC #118330). Witness text is preserved verbatim, including its spelling; nothing is edited beyond formatting.

Ask for the records

What would the paper say?

For a dated, located U.S. sighting, FAA radar data and ATC communications are the records most likely to exist. Through Aletheca, the house instrument, anyone can commission the request — filed, chased, and published in the open, refusals included. The draft goes over already written: the records sought, and the date window they would live in.
