We both saw one stationary 'orange orb or light' a few thousand feet away up in the sky. It just sat in the sky, not moving. Then it moved down and finally to the right in a perfectly straight line clearly unaffected by the wind. After it disappeared behind the tops of some trees, another one appeared near where the first one appeared. Wondering how the heck the first one could have gone from behind the trees to that original spot without my seeing it was certainly bizarre until another one appeared right where the first one was. There were then the two until they sped away. These were not Chinese Lanterns, fireworks, flares, weather balloons, falling leaves or meteors. There were no sounds and they were unlike anything I have ever seen before. This occurred in the early evening about the time the sun was setting. We are quite remote and I was hoping that what I saw was perhaps a pair of drones used for hunting. However, there was nothing else attached to them and I cannot find any pictures online of drones that look like what we saw. I do not believe in outer space UFO's, and this has me starting to wonder. I am a professional in my mid 40's, and the other witness is in her 70's. We are both college educated, economically stable and not under the influence of any mind altering substances.
