The wife and I took a weekend getaway to Ocean Isle Beach in North Carolina in the month of October of 2014. We went there to spend time with my mother and sisters who came together to enjoy a much needed get-a-way and they invited us to come join in. My younger sister and wife and I were walking along a popular strand of beach there at the end of the island on the 4th which was a Saturday. It was getting late in the day so we decided to go in order to avoid the rising tide and the darkness. Just as the sun set, we approached the public parking lot. Then we all spotted a peculiar orange orb just appearing there in the night sky and it was very out of place to the natural order of things. As we were watching this “UFO” for several minutes suddenly a barrage of “Chinese Lanterns” were being released over the ocean. We were quite startled at first. We realized this had nothing to do with the actual unknown orange orb situated in the skyline to the left of these “Chinese Lanterns” releases. At the time, we did not know that the party patrons had launched off the “Chinese Lanterns” but my younger sister had proclaimed they were in fact just that as she was familiar with the way they appear when launched off. My older sister who was bringing us our supper from a restaurant trip also came upon the “Chinese Lanterns” display as she was driving up to were we were staying and verified to us it was from the occupants of a beach house two lots down from the beach house we were at. Later that night I was really startled by a bright object that lit up the dark starry skies but both my sisters explained to me that it was just “The Space Station” as they see it all the time. However they all agreed that the first orange orb was what has been a horrific ordeal for years at the Ocean Isle/Southport NC area. They began to tell me of their own multiple encounters of these orbs and other related stories, particularly a sinister revelation from a woman friend along the end of island who tells of huge cigar shaped UFO with smaller craft that appear there on a constant schedule all year round! I was reluctant to report this but after speaking to someone who explained to me the importance of revealing this information, I now relay to you this report and hope it helps shed some light on something going on in this region.
