Le témoin promène ses chiens à 23h25 lorsqu'il observe deux points lumineux blancs qui se suivent dans le ciel, à grande vitesse. Un seul témoignage est recueilli. La description du phénomène faite par le témoin évoque nettement le passage de deux satellites, dont un gros. Une vérification sur Calsky confirme que la Station Spatiale Internationale (ISS) était bien visible à ce moment là, accompagnée du cargo spatial européen ATV5 qui se préparait à son amarrage le 12 août 2014. Ce cas d'observation, parfaitement identifié, est classé "A" : observation de l'ISS et du cargo ATV5. [GEIPAN classification A — ISS]
