The report, as filed
At first I thought it was fireworks but it never fell. I got up and walked out in the yard to get a better look and called to my wife to come look. The light contuied to get closer and in a few seconds was over our neighbors house. I had to run to the back yard the keep it in sight. It was gone within 10 seconds. The whole thing lasted no more than 45 seconds. Hard to guess the speed but from where it appeared to where I lost sight was probably about 3 miles. It was traveling south.

As I walked outside this morning I was looking at the moon. Then, I saw a dark line that was about 75% across the moon, moving left to right. I've seen airplanes leave contrails in front of the moon before but this wasn't that. This looked more like it was in orbit around the moon. Like I said it covered about 3/4 the distance across and also had a slight curve to its path. It only lasted a few seconds as it appeared to pass around the moon.

This was an event during 5th grade Field Days at an elementary school. If you look up at the top center you will see an object that wasn't seen live, but was visible after the pictures were uploaded. It seems as if the craft is operating in the IR range of the electromagnetic spectrum. It was also taken in the exact same place as that one from 2012 was taken (next report).
