The report, as filed
Black cross shaped drone with four propellers buzzing at 45 degree angle to Springdale Ave. as if it came from Los Angeles and was flying to Google? Irvine/Newport. Did not seem to have a package or anything attached below. Was traveling South/East at about 40 mph, over homes north of 405 fwy between Springdale and Edwards, headed seemingly towards Newport direction. I was in the garden. I was not aware they are allowed to fly around town like this whether it is for commercial or law enforcement/traffic use.

I saw about 20 bright yellow spheres traveling North to South in an exact straight line very close together in the sky over my house. They did not vary in speed or interval and maintained a constant speed the entire 45 sec until they were out of my sight. There were no mountains or buildings to block their travel. They just disappeared as they went farther away from me. They were not going at a particularly high rate of speed.I am a retired man living in So Calif.

I was driving to my house.i saw the craft reflect sunlight. I was on a red light. Moved to the next red light Craft was in same spot. I pulled in to my house. Ran to front door and looked for it. As soon as it shimmered I started taping it for over 3 min. Then I called my neighbors who witnessed with me. We also looked at it with a spotting scope. We watched it over

My son and I were doing last minute Christmas shopping at jc penny here at the Westminster Mall. When we got out of the truck, we noticed the vapor trail from the spacex launch, so I was taking pictures of it to send to my wife, and I noticed in the picture three white lights in the shape of a triangle, so I looked back up to see them hovering and as I went to take another picture they simply vanished. I thought maybe it was just from the rains, but as all the clouds moved out, the triangle remained in the same spot. I went to bed and woke up about 6am and went outside to see it was still there. I ran inside to grab my phone and when I came back, you could only see where it had been and now it’s gone.

After about 2 minutes, it appeared to hover so more. An airplane passed by and we realized that it was lower than a plane. As the plane passed, it shot straight up and disappeared.

Deep Purple light moving South w no sound....makes fairly abrupt turn and goes North-North East and still no sound. Considering rate of change and light intensity I expected sound from aircraft. Also close proximity to 2 major airfields and hear/see alot of activity accompanied w noise. The color of the light and absence of noise was awkward. Noticed the color change from deep purple to light blue during the turn but went back to neon purple. No strobing of the light like an aircraft wing light...solid purple light.
