My family and myself are vacationing in a four story condo overlooking the ocean at north Carolina beach. On our third night we were out on the balcony relaxing watching the waves crash on the beach when a strange red orb appeared in the sky over the ocean what appeared to be several miles out when my step son said did you see that I at first replied did you see lighting. He said I dont think so then it appeared again it lingered for several minutes this time and then faded away to reappear again in the same location some times as three light close together. At times there would be up to three groupings of these lights in spread out locations at the same time they would linger for a minute then fade away to reappear in up to five mins latter. We called for the rest of the family to watch. This went on for over an hour with the time in between each appearance getting longer. It was too high in the sky to be from a boat and didn't behave like any aircraft I have ever saw. On the fourth night 06/20/14 around 22:30 we were on the private board walk for the condo we were staying in when we saw the light again this time I pointed it out to a man that was staying next door to us and asked him if he has ever saw that before he said he didn't this time it only appeared around five times in less than thirty minutes. I did not see a shape. If it had a shape it was black. I just saw 8 inch diameter vivid red lights spaced about 3 feet apart along the bottom of something dark. From what I saw it stretched from one side of the street above one home to the other side of the street above the house on the other side of the road and the lights were moving like watching a train go through an intersection except it was happening above houses. It just kept moving. It really startled me as I realized what was happening. When I got to the intersection and looked down the intersecting street it was gone and out of sight. I drove around many blocks looking for it. Never saw it again. We live just across the river from the Sunny Point Military Terminal where a lot of jets train and military cargo planes fly over us all the time. They make noise. This object did not. I have never seen anything like it. I do not know what kind of military training object this could have been. But I am reporting it because it was simply too close to the top of the homes on my street.

I was standing on the second floor balcony looking for satellites and observing night air traffic when a delta shaped object moved from my 5 o’clock position to my 11 o’clock position. The object had three white lights. The lights were at the 3, 9, and 12 o’clock positions on the craft. The lights were a dim white almost yellowish light. The craft was completely silent and the airspeed appeared to be about 130 knots. The craft appeared to be about 1,500 ft. AGL. The color of the craft seemed to be a dark color maybe grey. I could see the faint outline of the craft against the night. sky. I lost sight of the aircraft as it continued toward the ocean. It disappeared behind the courtyard Marriott. Total time observed between 5 and 10 seconds.

Saw strange cloud formation above while watching jets climbing after taking off from airport and other jets descending to land. I noticed something shiny moving in the clouds. Upon observation I realized it was a long cylinder moving at a high rate of speed through the cloud formation, actually appears to pass a commercial jet. I got my friend to look and two other people walking by. We all saw it and no one could explain it or the strange cloud formation. We watched until it was completely out of sight over the Atlantic ocean. None of us had our phones or cameras to take pictures. You may contact me by email

Was with an off duty firefighter who got a call that there was a possible boat fire 11-17 miles off shore. We ran to the beach and saw nothing. Waited about 5 minutes and 3-4 super bright orange orbs appeared over Carolina Beach NC. They disappeared, waited and about ten minutes after 4 more appeared and made a diamond formation. After 20 minutes after the lorbs went away , military helicopters flew over my house heading to the sea. I have some great video of it.

I have witnessed a Silent orange or red small orb shape hovering in one spot for long durations between Carolina Beach and Kure Beach, NC. It just hovers there for like 15 minutes and then it proceeds on a path over the Brunswick Nuclear Power Plant in Southport next to the Sunny Point Military Terminal. This has happened on many nights that I have personally witnessed in the past year. Unsure what the silent orange object is but it appears to hover in one spot and have special interest in the nuclear power plant. It may be a drone but it also hovers over beach homes and that makes me uncomfortable as to why it would do that. I am interested in finding out what this is.
