I was on a Porter Airlines flight PD2141 from Toronto to Newark, it was descending, only a few minutes from landing. The time was 7pm EST. The city was passing by below. Out of my right side window, I saw an orb of yellow light approach the aircraft from the back-right side. At first I thought it was some kind of distortion through the plexiglass mirror of another aircraft or helicopter, but it was clearly an orb. With regard to is size, either it was larger and further away, or it was smaller and closer to the plane -- I am unsure. But I saw it again the backdrop of the moving city lights below, which is how I got a sense of its relative distance and movement in relation to our aircraft. It looked very similar to what was filmed in this YouTube video of a separate incident: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mUBFjz1os5c After a minute or so, it passed out my field of view, toward the back of the aircraft. I do not know if anyone else saw it. It was quite terrifying. I contacted the airline after to see if the pilots reported anything.

Around 7:20pm my child looked up in the sky and asked us what he was seeing. We saw 6 or 7 solid white orbs floating high up in the blue sky near a cloud. The orbs were identical in size and color, and moved slowly south, disappearing after a few seconds, but more and more kept coming from behind the cloud. I estimate we saw 25 to 30 orbs come out from behind the same small cloud and then disappear. Except for one orb that remained stationary in the sky as the others went past. At one point the stationary orb flashed. It remained until the end and then faded out. It never moved position.

I saw a large, round object, hovering in the sky. The object was some kind of aircraft. It was hovering relatively low, at around the height that a helicopter would hover. There were lights spaced out around the edge of the underside of the aircraft. I also saw several lines on the underside of the aircraft. The lines were both horizontal and vertical, they looked like dividing lines that were going into the (what seemed to be metal) underside. The large round aircraft made no sound. It hovered for several seconds, and then suddenly disappeared.
