Le 13 mars 2014 vers 22h15 un témoin en fermant ses volets observe le passage très rapide dans le ciel dégagé d'un PAN ovale de couleur verte de "type poireau avec un cercle rouge tout autour." Durant l'observation très courte aucun bruit n'a été entendu. Ce soir-là, de nombreux témoins en France, et également en Suisse ont pu observer, dans le ciel nocturne, le passage rapide d’un phénomène lumineux et coloré. Un bolide a effectivement été signalé dans un grand quart sud-est de la France et enregistré à 21h59mn 47s (voir la définition d'un bolide ainsi que le site Webastro.
