Le 1er avril 2013 vers 21h15, deux personnes depuis leur domicile sont intriguées par le déplacement lent et silencieux d'une boule lumineuse orangée qui s'éloigne ensuite plus rapidement et disparait instantanément. Le récit bien détaillé de cette observation "une boule jaune orangé, sans aucune traînée", se déplaçant selon le sens du vent de Nord (voir relevé Meteociel sur Vichy) évoque nettement le déplacement d'une lanterne thaïlandaise (lampion volant), probablement lancée lors d'une fête à l'occasion de ce jour férié (Lundi de Pâques).
