I was outside 7:30 at night and just going to the trash can. I looked up further on the road to see what the people were doing up the road. What caught my eye was an orb upon the hill travelling very fast. I thought that the people up the road fired a flare or something like that at first. I watched the course of direction the orb took which was South to North. It looked to disappear behind the hill/range until it got out of sight. Then instinct kicked in and I immediately turned to look at the night sky. What I thought at the time was Mars seems very bright tonight. I was astonished at how orange the light was, but I soon realized it wasn't Mars. It then vanished to my amazement. 10 minutes later I got into a vehicle and traveled to the other side of town. There was a police helicopter and thought it must have been what I saw, but the light on it is red, not orange.

I was not sleeping as it was a restless night. I decided to look outside into the morn. planets and the crescent moon are seen into the photos. At the time, I thought I might as well try out the camera on my phone. It returned some interesting photos.
