Was walking out back and as I was closing the door behind me, I noticed large oval shaped lights about 20 feet above the tree line, pretty low, shooting off south into the distance, extreme speeds, once it beamed it had a slight trail that disappeared in less than a second. It all happened extremely fast but it did accelerate for a millisecond and then just beamed away. Very bright haze covering the object, however this was all completely silent, after it was gone I heard a number of owl and coyote in the woods, I'm not sure if there's a correlation with the animal life but the timing was pretty strange.

An adult male telephoned the NUFORC UFO Hotline at 0907 hrs. (PDT) on Saturday, June 24, 2017, to report an alleged sighting that he and his wife had experienced the prior night, while returning to their home from a restaurant. The witness recounted that his wife, who was a passenger, suddenly became alarmed, and pointed to an object in the night sky. The husband looked up and allegedly witnessed a "boomerang" shaped object, which appeared to be hovering motionless in the nighttime sky. The witness reported that the object appeared to him to be giving off either steam, or perhaps smoke. The husband described himself as a former law enforcement officer, with several decades of experience.

As I stepped out for a cigarette, I noticed a curiously bright "fireball" like object ascending vertically in the air about 300 yards away. The "fireball" then smoothly changed its trajectory into more of a horizontal course. This struck me as particularly odd because of the light intensity, (vibrant, bright, and pulsing red/orange/yellow light) the trajectory, (flawlessly executed and smooth) and location (it ascended from a woodsy cornfield area). There was no police and/or medical unit activity reported during that time. It was absolutely beautiful, but very odd at the same time. There wasn't any sign of smoke, burning debris, or exhaust. The object didn't emit a sound and was completely silent.
