Des témoins rapportent leurs observations du 6 mai 2012 entre 23h et 23h30 du déplacement silencieux de plusieurs points lumineux orangés. Le phénomène semble s'éteindre et disparaît après plusieurs minutes d'observation. L'aspect des lumières (boules oranges), leur déplacement selon le vent d'Est, la durée de quelques minutes et le déplacement lent et silencieux, font nettement penser à des lanternes thaï, probablement lancées par quelque électeur heureux de l'issue du scrutin présidentiel. Ce cas est classé "B" : observation probable de lanternes thaï. [GEIPAN classification B — Lanterne thai]
