Deux témoins rapportent leurs longues observations d'un phénomène très lumineux dans le ciel. Les 20 et 21 février 2012 aux environs de 20h 20 un témoin dans l'Aveyron observe en direction de l'Ouest le lent déplacement d'un point particulièrement lumineux. Le témoin utilisera un appareil photo et une caméra pour voir et filmer le phénomène. Un autre témoin situé dans le Tarn observe "une espèce d'étoile très très brillante". . Le point lumineux observé par les témoins correspond à la planète Vénus (voir carte du ciel), particulièrement visible à cette période et très scintillante dans le couchant. Ce cas est classé "A".
