Le 11 aout 2011 vers 23h un témoin observe depuis chez lui, le lent déplacement rectiligne d'un point lumineux. Il filme le phénomène avant que celui-ci ne disparaisse derrière des arbres. Ce témoin avait déjà constaté ce même phénomène au mois de juin 2011. De faible étrangeté et de bonne consistance, ce cas d’observation ressemble en tous points à une méprise avec un avion en phase d’atterrissage. L’éloignement relatif du lieu d’observation des principaux aéroports d’Ile de France, dont l’approche se fait très probablement par l’Est ce soir-là, nous empêche toutefois une classification en A.
