Le 22 juillet 2011 à partir 22h 15 un témoin constate, à 10 minutes d'intervalle, le déplacement silencieux dans le ciel d'objets lumineux rouge-orangé. Les objets disparaitront en direction du Sud-Sud-Est. Chacune des observation durera 3 minutes. De faible étrangeté et de consistance moyenne à faible en raison de l’unicité du témoignage, ce cas d’observation a toutes les caractéristiques d' une méprise d'observation du passage de lanternes thaï.
