Deux témoins rapportent leur observation du déplacement silencieux de lumières au-dessus de l'océan le dimanche 17 avril 2011 entre 21h50 et 22h10. La description du phénomène ressemble en tous points à celle des lanternes thaïlandaises. La direction du vent (Est, NE) est cohérente avec le déplacement constaté. On notera simplement que l'obseravtion a eu lieu un dimanche, ce qui n'est pas le jour habituel des lâchers de lanternes ; mais c'est la période des vacances scolaires.
