Un témoin rapporte son observation du 26 février 2011 à 23h précise, concernant les évolutions de halos de lumière blanche et de forme ovoïde. L'enquête de gendarmerie permet de recouper ce témoignage avec ceux d'autres personnes. L'ensemble de ces observations, précises quant au lieu concerné, conduit la gendarmerie à conclure qu'il s'agit de faisceaux lumineux utilisés ce soir-là par une discothèque locale.
