It was there before we were, but we watched it for a about 20 mins, and then it took off west and could be heard from the ground. Witness elects to remain totally anonymous; provides no contact information. PD

Triangular shaped object flying north/northwest over orchard park between 10:15 and 10:30 pm in the night sky.. Typical airplane traffic to and from buffalo niagara international airport when out of the south to north was a triangular shaped object quite large no noise whatsoever. Flying noticeably faster than and airplane and much larger ..5 times wider than a full moon and lower flying than an airplane as well . 5 lights on either sider in front forming a large v pattern up front.. Decent view but too fast to grab my camera/ recorder.. 10-15 seconds and out of my view heading north/ northwest.. Soft white lights no strobe no noise just all softer/ dimmer lights in a v - formation.. Specifics are 338 degrees north bound half the height that a typical commercial airliner flies at
