Le 22 août 2010 à 2h40 du matin plusieurs personnes observent depuis leur domicile le passage silencieux de boules lumineuses de couleur orangées formant un triangle et se déplaçant toutes dans la même direction S-NE sur une trajectoire rectiligne. Ces boules finissent par disparaître après avoir pris une couleur plus rouge vif. Un des témoin filmera une partie de l'observation. Suite à la déposition en gendarmerie d'une personne ayant lu un article à ce sujet dans la presse et conformément aux informations apportées par le PV de gendarmerie, il s'agit d'un cas avéré de lâcher de lanternes lors d'une fête privée dans la commune voisine.
