Le témoin observe, plusieurs jours de suite, un phénomène plus lumineux qu'une étoile. Celui-ci se trouve au même emplacement chaque matin dans le ciel en direction du Sud. Véritable cas d’école de la méprise astronomique, ce cas d’observation a toutes les caractéristiques d’une observation de Jupiter, tout particulièrement le caractère répété d’un jour à l’autre, et la brillance propre aux planètes proches. Ce cas est classé A, parfaitement identifié comme observation de Jupiter. [GEIPAN classification A — Jupiter]
