Le 9 novembre 2009 un témoin observe à 800 mètres environ et durant moins d'une minute le passage entre deux montagnes d'un phénomène lumineux. De couleur rouge et de forme ronde suivi de flammes, cet objet se déplace en direction du Nord vers Tontouta. Aucun autre témoignage ne sera recueilli sur ce phénomène qui ressemble à une rentrée atmosphérique mais pour lequel nous manquons d'informations.
