Ask for the records
What would the paper say?
For a dated, located U.S. sighting, FAA radar data and ATC communications are the records most likely to exist. Through Aletheca, the house instrument, anyone can commission the request — filed, chased, and published in the open, refusals included. The draft goes over already written: the records sought, and the date window they would live in.

On the morning of November 22, 2021, at 7:45am, I witnessed and recorded a flying object travelling in a northerly direction. It looked like an oblong shaped object. I do not have the technology to zoom in on my video without the object becoming blurry. It would be helpful if someone could confirm what this object is. Thank you. There was no noise, nothing but a steady shining white light. However, we both stopped to watch this object and pondered what it could be. For several minutes it continued to shine brightly, stationary. But suddenly it quickly began to move, within 15 seconds it “zoomed” North, disappearing into a faint glimmer in the night sky. We have never seen something like this before.
