Ask for the records

What would the paper say?

For a dated, located U.S. sighting, FAA radar data and ATC communications are the records most likely to exist. Through Aletheca, the house instrument, anyone can commission the request — filed, chased, and published in the open, refusals included. The draft goes over already written: the records sought, and the date window they would live in.

Ajo, AZ April 30: Approximately 10PM Camping in my Airstream, heard sounds like rolling thunder, checked weather map on computer for SW AZ, nothing sighted nearby. Heard it again and went out to see two blinking white lights and roaring sound coming from opposite direction. The lights floated away seemingly randomly and then disappeared. They were the colors of stars but were bigger and brighter. I looked up any Air bases near AJO and there are none. I saw the lights twice about 15 minutes apart. They did not move like aircraft, they were faster and appeared to float and bob.

This is interesting because it sounds like what we saw was seen in southwestern CT a few days later – in the daylight (see other posts). We were camping in our rented RV in Organ Pipe National Park, in southern Arizona, about 40 miles from the Mexican Border. We were sitting outside of the RV. It was about 8:45 pm. Suddenly, my wife noticed a bright stationary light in the northern sky, close to the horizon. I looked quickly and saw it too. From that one bright light, another bright light came out of it, then another, and another until there were four bright lights, all stationary. Then, one by one they merged back into the first light until just the original light was left. The single orb flickered once, then disappeared. No noise, and no movement, other than moving in/out of the original orb.

My wife and I stepped outside to see what our dogs were barking at and heard a humming/jet engine sound. (We hear & see jets all the time because we are 10 miles south of BMGR training area.) This was not a "normal" jet engine sound. When we looked straight up, we saw a HUGE triangular shaped something with red lights at each point of the triangle. This thing appeared to be as big as a baseball park (not just the diamond, the stands and everything). It was flying in a totally different direction than the jets we see almost every night training on BMGR. We never see commercial aircraft down here because of BMGR. It's pretty much a no-fly zone. This was the first time my wife and I have ever thought that we definitely saw a UFO (we're in our early 60's). Stealth bomber? If it was, it was by far the biggest aircraft we've ever seen. We watch it until it faded out of sight. Source of the report elects to remain totally anonymous; provides no contact information. PD
