Le 22 avril 2009 à 4h45 du matin un astronome amateur est intrigué par un objet fixe dans le ciel avec de fortes variations de couleurs (vert, rouge, bleu) et une magnitude variable (forte augmentation puis diminution). L'action a duré 15 secondes d'après le témoin. Cette observation fait nettement penser à un reflet temporaire sur un satellite : flash de satellite Iridium, ou reflet sur un satellite en rotation. Malgré ses demandes le GEIPAN n'a pas reçu plus de précisions et ne peut vérifier cette hypothèse trop longtemps après les faits. Ce cas peu étrange est classé "C" par manque d'information.
