Un automobiliste observe le 25 janvier 2009 vers 18h30 le passage d'un phénomène rouge avec une longue trainée qui illumine le ciel. Aucun bruit n'est entendu. Le témoin se dirige vers la plage où d'autres témoins comme lui semble avoir vu l'objet tomber dans la mer. Aucun autre témoignage ne sera recueilli. Toutes ces personnes ont probablement été témoins d'une rentrée atmosphérique. [GEIPAN classification B — Rentrée atmosphérique]
