Le 06 janvier 2009 à 20 heures et à son domicile, un témoin observe dans le ciel le déplacement à vitesse rapide de deux ronds, de couleur jaune-orangé qui se dirigent en direction de Cambrais. Le témoin rapporte son observation au téléphone au GEIPAN ; il refusera de se rendre à la gendarmerie. De part les informations succinctes données par le témoin aucune hypothèse ne peut être envisagée. Ce cas est classé en catégorie C : manque d'information.
