Un témoin contact par mail le GEIPAN au sujet d'une observation d'un objet dans le ciel de Féchain le vendredi 15 aout 2008 vers 18h30. Il joint trois photographies mais ne produira aucun autre document pour préciser son observation. Aucun autre témoignage ne sera recueilli sur ce phénomène. Ce cas d’observation est en tous points compatible avec l’observation d’un ballon. Le GEIPAN le classe donc en B comme observation probable d’un ballon, et non en A faute de pouvoir prouver exactement son origine. [GEIPAN classification B — Ballon]
