A white cylinder, rounded on both ends, about 5 or 6 times longer than wide. No wings, no contrail, no sound. The direction of travel was from east, north east to west, south west and was traveling in a straight line at the apparent speed of commercial airlines we see several times a day. The size, measured by the space between thumb and index finger and with arm fully extended was about a quarter of an inch or less.

On March, 19th, Saturday, at about 16:46 I was visiting Lexington, Va and I was walking my dog on Dorman Lane looking southeast. When I noticed a bright “dot” in the sky. I then noticed a jet aircraft to the left (further East) about 1-3 miles away. I estimate the jet was about 25,000 to 30,000 feet in altitude and traveling southeast towards southwest. Although a blue sky there were white fluffy clouds all around. I noticed that the bright “dot” was traveling slightly faster than the jet and the jet appeared to be following it. I grabbed my iPhone and quickly took several photos. I could clearly see the wings of the jet, and it had the typical jet contrail, however, saw no wings on the “dot” and the “dot” had no contrail at all. As it went through the clouds and reappeared several times I was able to get photos. The jet and “dot” disappeared behind a large cloud. When you enlarge the photos you cannot see much details of the “dot” but you can see the jets wings and no wings visible at all on the “dot”. No sound from the jet could be heard, due to its altitude and no other sound from the “dot” could be hurt. Since it is an iPhone and the photos are made in Live View you can press on the photo on an Apple product and see brief motion, like a short video, you can also enlarge while in video mode. Although I have uploaded photos for you to review and I retain the rights and ownership.

I was driving down 64 almost to Lexington. The sun was just coming up over the horizon. A bright white light caught my eye above. I look up to see this bright light dart from my left to in front of me very fast and then just disappear right in front of me. I don’t think this could have been a shooting star or plane. I’ve never seen anything move so fast and then just gone. If didn’t disappear behind a mountain or into the sun or anything like that. I had my music on and it happened so fast I don’t know if there was any sound.

Well past dusk, saw a star twinkling and noticed it immediately jogged off in another direction...then zig-zagged again! It continued to 'zig, zag' very erratically but moved generally in a northwesterly direction. There were moments when it seemed to rotate as the light it was emitting became stronger, then weaker as it changed direction. It was generally moving within a range of speed (no darting)... It is overcast weather conditions, so it must have been at or below the cloud cover. as it proceeded northwest, I lost it in the cloud cover. The entire length of time it was visible to me upon noticing it was approximately 3 minutes.

The object was moving west to east. At the speed of a prop plane. bright reflection from an oval object. No navigation lights, no wings, no noise, no contrail., seemed to be metallic. Difficult to say elevation but above 20,000 ft At first I thought it was Sky Lab but checking it was the wrong time of day for the space station. The object seemed large, longer than it was wide and it moved in a straight line .. no deviation of path. It was beautiful but strange. Perhaps another satellite but it was interesting. No other planes in area at this time but flight path not typically used by commercial or military aircraft.
