Started off as a red dot with a tail and quickly gained altitude. Then was a bluish dot around Star height with a parabolic tail. There was only one. I was out walking my dog when I thought I saw a shooting star. My mom and I were walking our dog and she stopped to look. Then another man down the street stopped to look. We watched the red dot shoot into the sky, then it briefly disappeared. Then, it returned but was a light blue and had a bluish, parabolic wake behind it rather than a tail. My mom is a middle age professional and I am a student. I have experience in both rocketry and planetary science, but have no clue as to what the object may be. My mom thought it looked like a rocket, but I checked and there were no recent launches to my knowledge. After some time it truly disappeared and we continued our walk. We then noticed a helicopter circling our area, which is unusual as it is a safe suburban neighborhood. My dog was acting weird the whole walk but I’m not sure that he saw it. 060516_3:50 AM PST Usually clear skies – no moon - Looking almost due north – 1. Noticed a large object with a slow-2 sec. pulsed glow over entire area of object at about 15 sec. intervals above the spares cloud cover. Object moved very fast and changed directions several times within in 2-3 sec. and continued south east. Followed by similar object, though different path but equal in behavior. event lasted 60-90 sec. each. Elliptical in shape - follows mathematical coefficients. 2. Same direction - noticed what would be best described as very - high altitude dispersed lighting. One flash only. I'm the ultimate skeptic – this is not my first observation. Don't have $10 million in camera equipment needed that ready to go at a moments notice. Had a bright LED flash light and I did flash a sequence of primes!

I saw an orange light going diagonally in the sky. The orange light then extended itself for maybe 3 sec. It then passed behind a building so I couldn’t see it anymore. When it passed that building it left a green colored cloud and the UFO stopped to light up the green “cloud”. It projected a very strong light horizontally (approx. 30 feet long). It then started it again moving diagonally in the sky with its light on and left in the sky. The green cloud just stayed there even when I was leaving 5 minutes later. You could still see the light from very far away in the sky. I have never see anything like it.
