Deux témoins observent le 15 mars 2008 de 22h20 à 22h30 trois passages silencieux et successifs d'un phénomène lumineux décrit comme une "boule de feu". La description du témoin (boule scintillante), l'espacement entre les observations, le déplacement cohérent avec la direction dominante du vent (venant de l'Est), l'heure et le jour de la semaine (samedi en soirée) sont cohérents avec l'observation de lanternes thaïlandaises.
