Driving to work on I-64, I saw two really bright stars in my peripheral vision. They didn’t catch my attention.... until one moved extremely fast, in a straight line with a tail behind it... across the sky. It stayed in my vision and then disappeared. It was very high up, with the stars. It didn’t look like any shooting star or meteor I have ever seen. This is the first sighting I have had this month, and I had the second sighting last night. Really concerns me.

I was outside in the front of my house at approximately 9pm EST on Wednesday 9/16/20 when I saw a small reddish orange object in the South West night sky. I initially thought it was a planet or star, but it was slowly moving towards the North and getting larger, which appeared to me as seeming to get closer. I watched as it slowly continued to move, until it stopped, almost as if directly in front of my view. It was about the same size as might a pea be if held at arm’s length. I got my cell phone camera out and started recording video. It was stopped for about 10 seconds, then it doubled in size (like a dime at arm’s length) without moving. It then slowly moved in a straight line to the right (north), stopped again, and then got as large as a nickel at arm’s length. The size changes were like a balloon quickly being blown up by a helium tank, not instantaneous. It then started to slowly move North as it gradually got smaller. It was at this time that I ! ran in the house and got my girlfriend out of the shower to come see it. When she came out, it had moved a lot further to the North, but it was still visible to her. While we watched it slowly faded out as if going behind clouds or something, but it appeared to be a clear night. It then reappeared, a tad bit larger than when last seen, but this time it was about a hand’s width at arm’s length further East, than when it disappeared. It then disappeared again. I never seemed to make a sound. I, nor my girlfriend, had ever seen anything like this before in our lives. I was, surprisingly, not afraid during the whole experience. We’ve looked at the video footage I captured repeatedly, trying to find an explanation. We’ve been scouring the internet trying to shed some light on what it may have been. However, we could only conclude what it was NOT. It didn’t seem possible for it to be a planet, meteor, comet, satellite, rocket, blimp, airplane, helicopter, drone, lantern, or balloon. It felt and continues to feel like an unforgettable and life impacting experience. I’m a Computer Engineer and my girlfriend is a Director at a Women’s Health organization. We were not under the influence of any drugs or alcohol, nor do we wear tin foil hats. We are now very curious about what we saw and searching for answers.

Object appeared to be like a plane, but the color and speed wasn’t correct, and it seemed closer and lower than a plane. Slow and steady course. After it disappeared into the clouds, the same exact thing happened about 1-2 minutes later (a second identical object on what seemed like the same flight path). Time indicated by witness may have been flawed. We have amended it, in order to indicate a nighttime sighting. Witness elects to remain totally anonymous; provides no contact information, so we are unable to confirm the time. PD

My husband and I saw a very bright yellow crescent moon shaped object over our field about 100 yards from our house. I saw it as one crescent shape. His binoculars were better than mine. He saw it with an appendage at the end. We both noticed it had red lights. It seemed to be stationary for about 13 minutes. I called our neighbors. They walked out to the field. As soon as they stepped out of the tree line this object took off. My husband and I did not see it take off as we had stepped back into the house for a moment. Their description was it took off very fast towards the east faster then an aircraft and seemed to skim over the trees. At this point it had no shape because it was going too fast. We have sent an image via email.

Birds were chirping very loudly outside of my apartment around 4:00am in the morning. The volume of the chirping progressed to the point where I decided to see if there was a nest outside my apartment because I could not fall asleep. When I opened the door, there was a large green ball shaped object fairly low in the sky (lower than the moon which was not visible from my door). I quickly called my boyfriend to the door to see and as he came to the door, the single ball separated or multiplied into two balls which grew in size then dissolved slowly. Seconds after, two more ball appeared (almost looked like they popped in the sky), then four more in perfect symmetry; they appeared like a number four looks like on dice. Seconds after that, another burst of four balls 'popped' in the sky. My boyfriend and I both did double takes as we could not believe what we were seeing. Additionally, we found the birds' behavior perplexing as I have never heard birds before at that hour of the morning nor have I seen them be so active (dodging and fleeting from tree to tree). Shortly after all the balls dissolved into the sky (total of about a minute, two at most), the birds chirping ceased and the night was quiet once again. Lastly, we speculated that it could be fireworks but there were no sounds coming from the lights or any other sounds other than the birds that we could hear. The balls did evolve in color, beginning in green, then to yellowish orange color until they faded away completely. I did take a single photo towards the end when they were mostly dissolved, but the outlines of the balls can be seen.
