Le 18 juin 2006 à 22h33 (heure du téléphone d'un des témoin) deux pêcheurs en bord de plage observent un phénomène particulier. Deux boules lumineuses de couleur jaune orangé et légèrement translucides se déplacent à grande vitesse. Ces boules disparaîtront dans la brume en remontant au Nord. Aucun autre témoignage n'a été recueilli sur ce phénomène. L'enquête lancée tardivement en 2008 n'a pas permis d'obtenir des renseignements probants (comme les traces radar qui ne sont archivées que durant deux mois).
