Driving east on rt 78 I saw a large glowing ball of white light that was pulsating/flashing with brighter white light. There were no other colors, only white and the object was leaving a trail of the same intense white light behind it and was moving entirely too fast to be a plane. As I watched it, it continued accelerating faster and faster and in no more than 5 or 6 seconds it shot off at a 45 degree angle going up towards space. It accelerated so fast it almost disappeared entirely except for the trail of light behind it.

For the past 2 weeks, on clear afternoons around 6:15pm something passes over central NJ at a very high altitude. Through binoculars it looks like a silver box kite, or hourglass/ dumbbell shape, and I can just barely make it out with the naked eye. It moves very slowly from SW to NE and catches the light from the setting sun, but one time it seemed to be standing still and didn't move. It could be the ISS but usually that's just a bright dot late at night, not a daytime shape with visible structure. I've seen it 4 times in the past 2wks, don't have the right equipment to photograph it, but it's been fairly predictable. NASA's ISS spotter website only lists nighttime flyovers.

I was driving on Route 78 west around the bridgewater area (this is not 100% confirmed but best to my knowledge). To the left of me, very low, parallel to the median, I witnessed an extremely fast moving object with a bright blue light stream through the sky and then the light disappeared in mid air. The object almost looked like a jet landing extremely fast but never made contact with the ground. The blue light disappeared mid decent. There was no sound. This was not a shooting star or even close to the speed/pattern of that. This was much slower than a shooting star yet way faster than my vehicle was driving (70 MPH). It was large in size. Although this was late at night I would be surprised if I were the only one to witness this.

At 12:45 4 objects were seen in the sky. The objects were completely black and seemed to float. They maintained proximity of each other. The best description would be something like a plastic bag floating or a very light burnt paper, but we could see they were definitely not bags or papers. Initially we thought they were birds but quickly realized they weren’t. No wings, no defined shape, no flying. Just gently flowing in the sky going up and away from us.

I stopped at the corner of Ventura Drive and Vanderveer Road to observe. The skies were very clear and I notice this object moving across the sky. I took out my iPhone XR and I thought that I was recording the object, but later realized that I took a picture instead of a video. While reviewing the picture I looked up again and actually saw a second object, which I immediately started to film. The second object comes into frame around 16/17 seconds and which may need to zoomed in a bit as it appears to be very tiny. One thing that was noticeable was that there were no contrails, compared to the jet that comes into frame almost at the end of the video. Could be something explainable but wanted to share in case someone else reported a similar sighting.

We took out our phone and started to record. On the video, you can see a round object floating and spinning in the sky. There was a flash of light as it flipped over. Just to the side of it was another object which was more square in shape. It was also floating and spinning. It was moving in a circular pattern and then as quickly as it appeared, it was gone.
