Walking the dog with my wife. We saw a flashing light in the sky, then moments later it flashed 2 very quick times 2-hands distance away moving south across the sky. Within 5 seconds or less it flashed in the same way (2 very fast flashes) in the middle of the sky and flashed again in the southern sky before it passed the horizon. It had just become dark. We could see no shape just the light. But it crossed the whole unobstructed sky in less than 5 seconds flashing at intervals across the sky disappearing in-between. Altitude seemed low but just assuming this due to it's speed across the sky.

((ADDENDUM FROM WITNESS)) It was a football-sized ball of light with a tail, as best we could say, since it happened so quickly, and was so bright. I was in a beauty salon at the time and we all just looked at each other in disbelief, agreeing that we had indeed seen a UFO of some description. The time was 12.15 pm, yes, 15 minutes past noon. While driving for my doctors appointment in Glendale, California, I decided to exit on Harvey in Glendale and take the side streets. As I was passing 1 or 2 blocks going east of Verdugo Blvd. on Wilson, I happened to look up on the right hand side of my windshield. I was asking myself and wondering why the "lightpost" was very high up in the sky without the post. Not a moment too soon, I saw a silver disk just hovering in front of my sight up in the sky. It was like at a stand still. I gasped and muttered "Oh, my God!" and for all I know, in the blink of an eye, the thing disappeared. It was a UFO. I glanced at my cellphone wanting to take a picture, but couln't because I was driving and the UFO was so fast in disappearing. The time was 13:18. It was exciting to realize this was not the only instance I saw a UFO several years ago while driving on the Glendale freeway. But it was a little far and this time it was bigger since it was more close.

While taking a taxi to work today around 11:30 AM, I saw a huge, black triangular shape in the distance south of where I was traveling in the Atwater area of Los Angeles near Glendale. I first saw the object while the car was driving on Glendale Blvd and continued to watch it off and on as we drove onto Hyperion. The object was solid black, triangular shaped, and seemed to fade into what looked like a grainy smoke, and then became very solid and metallic looking again. It was low in the horizon just above the tree tops in the distance. I told the taxi driver about it, but because he was driving in traffic, he could not stop to take a look at it. I am not a crackpot. I am a registered nurse and I know what I saw. I have lived in the Los Angeles area for many years and I know what the Goodyear Blimp looks like. It was not the blimp!
